Skye Jethani on Consumerism and the Church

Skye, as always thanks for the balanced perspective. It seems that church facilities have a multi-directional pendulum concerning the purpose of the space--whether it's to reach the lost, to worship God, to create a sense of community, etc.--and which one gets the greatest priority with the dollars available. Then when we add the consumerism dynamic that you succinctly articulate and it's not just a pendulum, maybe it's more of a gyroscope.

Shouldn't any book titled "The Divine Commodity" at least be available as a free download?
